Calling Indigenous Artists and Creators!

Proposals will soon begin to be considered for “A Path Forward” – a new permanent and evolving exhibit co-curated by Tsi Tyónnheht Onkwawén:na, the Downie Wenjack Fund and The County Museums at Macaulay Heritage Park.

The exhibit will explore efforts in the County toward Truth and Reconciliation, as well as provide a space for reflection, education, and guidance from the local Indigenous community.
Please take a moment to enjoy this video that explains the project’s goals and our partnerships with Tsi Tyónnheht Onkwawén:na and Downie Wenjack Fund.
The County Museums and Macaulay Heritage Park respectfully acknowledge that Indigenous Peoples have lived on Turtle Island for millennia. Macaulay Heritage Park is situated in Prince Edward County, Ontario, on the traditional territories of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe and Huron-Wendat.

*This project is looking especially for Indigenous artists from these Nations.
